Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) with encryption at rest (AES-256).
- All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS 1.2+.
- Infrastructure is hosted in secured GCP data centres with SOC 2 Type II certification.
Access Control
- Access to patient scan data requires authenticated clinic membership.
- Patients explicitly grant clinics access to their scan data.
- Access can be revoked by the patient at any time.
- All download actions are logged with timestamps and user identity.
Data Use
- 3D scan data is used exclusively for prosthetic and orthotic modelling purposes.
- Scan data is not shared with third parties beyond the patient's authorised clinic.
- Aggregated, de-identified data may be used to improve reconstruction quality.

Augmene is a digital measurement and modelling tool. It is not a registered
medical device and should not be used for clinical diagnosis. All clinical decisions
should be made by qualified healthcare professionals using appropriate medical instruments.
User Consent
By using the Augmene platform, users consent to the collection and processing of 3D scan
data as described above. Users may request deletion of their data by contacting their
clinic administrator or Augmene support.
